Anti Skip Improvement for the CD Player

GM issued a service bulletin, 339603, to address owner comments about excessive skipping by the CD player when bumps are encountered in the road. This is for ’90 through ’93 Corvettes. The upgrade was incorporated into factory production in the ’94 and later model years. The special foam padding PN 10247760, has been discontinued by GM.

The installation consists of removing the radio and installing the same type of special urethane padding that was issued by GM. The cost is $55.

The urethane padding is available along with a copy of the service bulletin. The cost is $10.
