The front brake caliper piston dust seal can get damaged during severe braking. Very high deceleration at speed greater than 90 mph can cause the OE brake pad to ignite and spray sparks. The sparks can burn the caliper piston boot.

I don't know of a solution to this problem. Some racing calipers do not have piston dust seals. Maybe this is why.
